  From my experience, I would recommend that you stay away from Dr. Carlos Haroldo Del Valle Martinez, at least if you are having an extensive procedure. My review spans the course of 11-years following his treatment and the subsequent *nightmare. In 2007 Dr. Del Valle performed a full mouth restoration and while the teeth did ultimately look fantastic once they were cemented in place, I started having problems almost immediately. Within 6-hours, one crown already popped out but I was already on my way back to Miami and had to visit another dentist only to discover that the occlusion, a detailed time-consuming task was not done properly and had to be corrected. Subsequently I also found that he simply skipped some very important steps like using retraction cord when making impressions which is imperative for good margins. He also took other shortcuts such as using regular superglue as an adhesive for temporaries. Within 10-years following his care or lack thereof, six of Del Valle's front crowns shattered while many of his other crowns keep popping out. Also, the one root canal he performed completely failed and had to have that tooth extracted. One local dentist wanted $31,000 just for the most urgent care and over $60,000 for what I really needed. Ultimately, I went to FMS in Hyderabad, India in 2017 in order to correct all of Del Valle’s mistakes and had gum surgery, 5 root canals, 3 implants and 28 crowns for just over $10,000. I would have prefered to have stayed in the Americas but opted for this facility as it had a top rating with GCR (Global Clinic Ratting). 18-months later I am still very happy with my decision as I found FMS to be staffed with top-notched caring professionals incorporating all the newest technology. *Photo taken on March 2015 without my homemade temporaries in place. By then I was actually making my own temporary crowns by ordering them from China on eBay and shaping them with a Dremel tool in order to look "normal" until I could once again afford to have my teeth reworked.

  My experience using Dr. Fredy Barrios was top notch. Excellent timely service, very patient and detailed explanations and an extremely gentle touch made this the best experience I've ever had at the dentist. He used high end German products for my fillings and veneer. Dr. Barrios is personable, has a great sense of humor, was caring and concerned about my comfort and was extremely well researched on the latest dental trends.
