::I did 4-weeks of medical Spanish immersion and loved it. I had a great teacher and all the other staff was available to teach and help with anything I needed including vacation planning when my husband joined me. They were easy to communicate while I was still in the states. Also, the home stay was amazing. Good food and Spanish practice. The school also plans fun activities including hikes, futbol, weekly dinners, and coffee tours. I learned a lot and working in the clinic was rewarding and helped me practice the language.

::From April to June 2016 I spent 8 weeks in Pop Wuj studying Spanish and working in their social projects. I did an intensive amount of research before choosing Pop Wuj and I'm glad I chose this school. The teachers are great and I haven't met any other students that wasn't satisfied with his teacher. During five hours of one to one lessons each day, my Spanish has improved at a rapid rate. I started with little to no Spanish and gave presentations in Spanish to the local community just five weeks later. The school takes great care of its students and weekly evaluation makes sure that the students have the best possible experience. All Pop Wuj's projects really help the local communities and every students can decide for herself how much she wants to engage in them. I had an amazing time and actually chose to come back for another few weeks after I travelled around Guatemala. If you want to study Spanish, choose Quetzaltenango and choose Pop Wuj!
