::Beds were like sleeping on boards. Pillows were flat. Did not have hand soap in the bathroom. The towels were dingy and looks 100xs past their prime. No outlet in the bathroom to plug in hairdryer or straightener you have to go out to the main room to do all this. Big inconvenience. Staff was very friendly on a positive note *

::Older, dated hotel with small rooms in the historic district. They were a bit pricey for what you get but they were clean. Everyone was very helpful. They have arranged parking with a near by lot that is maintained 24 hours a day. I’m pretty sure it’s a family’s property and they rent the spots and live on site. They were nice and I felt as safe as I could parking there. If you need to park after they close or get in early there is a door bell sort of clicker on the outside. The hotel also closes doors pretty early. We arrived from cayala around 12 and had to wait to be let in but it is secure. The elevator was cool and old. Also, I really liked the location.

::Really cool place, historic hotel in the center of the city. Beautiful mahogany doors and windows. Beautiful lobby and grandiose. Definitely the place to be back in the heyday of Pan American Airways. Breakfast is really good. Negatives are: uncomfortable mattresses, small bathrooms with windows into hallway, no a/c. There was a wedding the first day we were there and noise in the room was as loud as a concert. Literally could not sleep until the wedding was over and this isn’t an American wedding that ends at 9:30pm. Breakfast is really expensive relative to the price of rooms. (Breakfast for 3 was the same price as the room night)
