The hotel rooms in this hotel smell like the national association of mold convention! They stink to high holy heaven. I think the rooms are $50 but they are worth perhaps $11 at most. Only good thing about this hotel is the location and the fact that it does have a nice looking pool. Would I stay here? Hell no my allergies would kill me.

Cozy hotel right by the central park/plaza. Staff was very helpful and spoke English well. Beautiful garden courtyard area. Room was clean and comfortable. High-touch areas were disinfected, and the room was much bigger than I anticipated. Parking, laundry, and beer available on-site. Overall a very pleasant stay!

Know what you're looking for. As a family we wanted somewhere very close to the center of Antigua, offered breakfast every morning, and was more home-like than hotel-like. We'd be going out to various locations that were hours outside of Antigua and we're gone a majority of the day. If we wanted to have more of an American style hotel that where we could be entertained all day inside the hotel grounds we probably would have stayed in Santo Domingo. But that's why you have to be rigid with your expectations and check off offered facilities. Most hotels in Antigua are refurbished Spanish colonial houses, therefore the rooms are connected. I got to admit on a majority of the nights I've had a quieter sleep next to Times Square. But there's nothing the hotel can do about that as they can't control foot traffic. Anyway, there's 3 main breakfast options with a weekly buffet, since my family and I aren't really "foodies" in the sense that we'd want different options everyday we didn't mind at all. We wanted to get our breakfast and go on with our day, and it's perfect for it! Also the pool water is heated, if it rains then the temp. does go down though.
