  This is an amazing place to stay if you visit in Flores. Owners are so kind and they will arrange everything for you. They have tours, shuttles, some maps for you to work around in Flores. They have vegan food such as banana bread, coffees, smoothies and ice creams. Everything I ate there were tasty I can strongly recommend. If I come back to Flores I will definitely come visit there.

  Staff was great, very relaxing atmosphere. Everything you needed was here. Price was very inexpensive. Highly recommend!

  I loved staying here! The people who run the place are SO nice and helpful. They've literally thought of everything to put in the hostel to keep you comfortable. This is everything from free tampons in the bathroom to a fully functioning kitchen to private fans and board games. The dorm room is a loft with mattresses on the floor but don't let that bother you, it's very comfortable and good for getting to know other travellers. I def recommend!

  I had a great experience here. I stayed in the private room, which was clean and comfortable. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly, and the smoothie I had from the cafe was excellent. After my last month, living in a tent in an archaeological field camp in the middle of the jungle, Ciao Cacao was just what I needed to relax and unwind and finally get a good night's sleep. I only wish I could have stayed a little longer

  Best hosts ever. Super nice, anything you need they are there for you. Beds on the floor are quite comfortable. Everyone having their own fan is a huge bonus too since Flores is really hot. Spacious yard with lots of hammock. Store around the corner and a perfect place to relax in the lake just a block away.
