  Cafe Rafa is the best coffee in Atitlan! Me and my partner went to coffee places all over the lake. We were told the best coffee would be in San Juan. We tried 2 different cafes there and Cafe Rafa was definitely our absolute favorite!! We made a 2nd trip to Santiago just to get more bags of beans to take back home!

  A nice cafè for the area. It's much more high quality than you'd expect considering the area. Its very delicious and cheap too. The vintage design of the place is very cute and fun to be in. Definitely a nice place to rejuvenate in after exploring Santiago

  Best coffee in town, roasted fresh every morning and very knowledgeable staff. Stop in for a cup or go on a tour of local coffee in the area Cafe Rafa has it all!

  The only reason I don’t give this place 5 star is because it’s super dirty all the sofas need to be washed immediately. The quality of the coffee was good and it’s located like two blocks from the lake dock.

  Juan, owner, is passionate about coffee. He was the first to set a coffee place in town, now there are many. He tends to his own small coffee fields. Wifi, and other drinks, and pastries available.
